The key fob will then use the decryption key previously saved and the counter for synchronization in order to authenticate the signal when it is used again.
This security measure is effective in preventing the majority of attacks, but it's not 100% secure. This security feature has been hacked by an advanced attack called RollJam [17]. In order to be successful the attacker must have future codes to be sent via the key fob. Once these codes are acquired, the attacker can perform an attack replay and gain access to an automobile.
Pulling the car out of the spot

Another issue that may stop your sunroof from raising is a defective Limit Switch 2 or one which has been improperly adjusted. This will cause the lifting arms to retract to the released position for removal but not raise them to the open position. The sunroof cannot be operated on vehicles built after 1985.5. The ignition switch must be set to the ACCESSORY (2) position. The sunroof console switch then moved back ("A" direction) to open and pushed forward ("B" direction) to close.
